Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The short essay reflects on the specific resources of social theater practices, in particular the laboratory experience, highlighting its rehabilitative resources in the psychiatric field. In particular, the direct, participatory and widespread practice of the various theatrical functions - attention, authority and spectatorism - gives rise to an experience in which participants can experiment with concrete creative activities, in relation to other participants, sharing their own imagery and I co-construct a scenic imaginary, experiencing the dimension of how and how it is theatrical, exploring its symbolic and metaphorical skills, giving life to characters and narrative weaves. These activities allow the person to experience sensitivity, skills, emotions, interactions often compromised by psychiatric suffering in a protected context and that are fundamental in the overall care process.
