of small schools in Abruzzo, supported the pedagogical use
of distance learning in teaching planning

including the lack of teaching staff and lack of completion
of the school timetable do not allow normal progress
activities. The teachers involved, and trained through
a laboratory "gym", have reached a good level
of epistemic agency through the use of virtual twinning environments,
of videoconferencing and innovative discussion spaces
like the knowledge Forum, designing teaching canevas
shared and work for "delocalized" classes through disciplinary paths
municipalities, involving groups of students (school
primary and lower secondary schools) in group work in
parallel by adapting calendars, spaces and the roles of the teachers themselves.
Allowing us to detect educational inclusion processes and others
while creating added value in the field of national research
and international which deals with teaching in situations
of remoteness, the Italian experimentation detected an impact
on the quality of the educational experience of small schools and has
