Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The seven contributions deal from different disciplinary angles with the issue of European citizenship in relation to the "European dream": one does not simply linger on an analysis of what the recognition of European citizenship should have produced and which, on the other hand, it has not actually achieved. The intent behind the various contributions was more problematic: European citizenship is examined especially in relation to open issues that challenge the functioning of the Union's political, economic and social institutions.
