Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay analyzes the relationship between the notion of citizenship and ownership of fundamental rights, moving essentially along three perspectives. First of all, the aspect relative to the holders of fundamental rights is considered and, in this sense, the importance acquired by the notion of dignity of the human person is affirmed. Secondly, the contribution wants to reconstruct the content of the rights, in particular with respect to the evolution of the social structure and to the attached problems of interpretation of the constitutional law that derive from it. Finally, we focus on the question of jurisdictional protection, as a guarantee of the effectiveness of fundamental rights, with specific regard to the 'multilevel' dimension of protection that is now inextricably linked to the enjoyment of the rights themselves.
