Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Childhood has always been the “focus” of media attention, first as “public” to defend and protect from the effects of the media (according to the main theoretical framework of Media Literacy Education at that time) and later as a “target” (the child as a buyer) to allocate specific productions and goods, connected to the flourishing merchandising market (programs, tv shows, movies). The contribution discusses the topic from the perspective of Media Literacy Education. .
