Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] the essay answers the question of the title: today many people claim the right to close their doors to foreigners for fear of the terrorist threat; three factors of change in Europe lead to giving weight to this question but it is argued that the path to be followed is the opposite. Abandoning the naive idea of interculture as a correct practice, avoiding the frontal gaze and starting again with a sideways glance, accompanying the paths of the migrants to the level of thought and action.
