Abstract
Respiratory function and gases Exchange impairments have been found after upper abdominal surgery, with consequential risk of hypoxia, atelectasys and pneumonia. We compared effects of laparoscopic against open cholecystectomy to value postoperative gas and ventilation distribution changes.
