Within the context of an explorative research about female entrepreneurship, this chapter analyses the case of a woman who launched an enterprise for the importation of handcrafts from Asian countries. In the understanding of the birth and the development of this entrepreneurial initiative, it stresses the importance of individual attitudes and competences, but also of the family network.
