Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In this chapter, with the aim of accounting for the complexity and forms that evaluation takes in real contexts, some evaluation experiences located in the socio-educational and training field are illustrated. They should not be understood in terms of gold standards, but rather provide the reader with an overview of different ways in which it is possible to think and carry out evaluation, which must be approached with a critical eye.
These experiences have been traced within national scientific journals and texts in the pedagogical and social area that specifically deal with evaluation. As regards the objects, consistently with the evaluation scenarios presented in the second part of the volume, evaluation studies have been included regarding training practices, services and socio-educational projects; the latter, in particular, present evaluation designs referring to objects with a medium-high level of complexity. In selecting the studies, in addition to paying attention to the authoritativeness of the sources and methodological solidity, an attempt has been made to ensure a good plurality and variety in terms of objects, approaches, methods and tools adopted.
