Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Descartes intends to replace uncertain knowledge with a clear and secure architecture of knowledge, based on simple rules inspired by mathematical procedures. His model will become universally adopted in the sciences, but his philosophical stance and the outcomes that it entails must be debated in order to highlight implicit assumptions and assumptions.
