Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter describes the techniques of working the agricultural land, discusses its positive and negative characteristics, with particular attention to the needs of protecting soil quality, understood in various aspects: physical, chemical, biological and environmental. The text, of an educational nature, is aimed in particular at university students of the Agricultural Sciences and Technologies degree. The entire monograph, in fact, created by a pool of Italian university professors, was promoted by the Italian Society of Agronomy as the main instrument for the three-year degrees of the AGR / 02 sector.
