Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This is an account of Cédric Passard's work on the specificity of the last thirty years of the 19th century and on the heyday of the pamphlet. The first part, entitled “The Age of the pamphleteers”, is devoted to the birth - or to the media “invention” - of the pamphleteer as a new authorial figure on the paradigmatic model of Henri Rochefort The second part, “A setting political ills ”, discusses the political epistemology of the pamphlet, its doxa, its ethos, its rhetoric and its role in the political debate. The third part, "Between political pacification and depacification" illustrates the fundamental ambiguity of the pamphlet.
