Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay starts from the consideration that the multidimensionality of environmental issues requires a new ability to analyze the relationships between societies, institutions, companies, research and training according to a multiplicity of criteria and methods for the purpose of an adequate and prospective understanding of the phenomena. An articulated understanding of the interdependence relationship between the natural world and human societies is the essential condition for glimpsing the possibility of a new foundation for planetary civilization. It is necessary to spread greater responsibility on the part of the individual and the community in reference to the transformative action that anthropic intervention can have on nature and the environment. This requires that everyone's actions are placed in a competent planning, according to a preventive and proactive policy rather than a conservative and reactive one. Educating, throughout life, requires from each one an ever-living dedication on which depends the flowering of the common good in the plurality of social articulation, between environmental ecology and human ecology.
