Breast MRI in a case of early onset lactating adenoma.

A case of lactating adenoma arised during the first trimester of pregnancy is reported. The patient is a 30-year-old primiparous woman, who noted an asymptomatic lump within her left breast during the ninth week of gestation, slightly increasing in size during the next weeks. After delivery, ultrasound (US) demonstrated a hypoecoic solid mass, hypervascularized, measuring 4 cm (Fig. 1).
