[Autom. eng. transl.] In Italy, after the approval of paragraphs 594-601 of law 205/2017 n. 2656 concerning the "Discipline of the professions of educator and pedagogue", university courses were organized for educators without diploma to allow them to complete their training and obtain the necessary qualification to continue to exercise the profession (Iori, 2017) . Engaged in educational services for at least three years, these educators have professional skills to integrate into their training. Our research work is aimed at this population in work-study training and aims to study the pathways of professional identity. A sample of students / educators was sorted from the participants during October to December 2018. The object of this study is to study the existential dimensions of learning and engagement between different learning contexts by means of a collection of "professional biographies", which make it possible to identify trajectories, dynamisms and meaning-building processes, but also fractures.
