Abstract
Enrico Castiglioni was an Italian architect, painter and sculptor. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano with honors and obtained the qualification to the profession of architect at the Faculty of Architecture in Rome. Between 1965 and 1973 he was professor in charge at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the Catholic University of Milan for the course of History and Theory of Theatrical Space. From 1971 to 1977 he was president of the Order of Architects of the Province of Varese. Its intellectual profile is reconstructed from training to professional outcomes and intellectual cultural contribution that are framed in post-World War II Catholic culture.
