Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The Colli Piacentini viticulture is looking to the future to consolidate its competitiveness also thanks to the activity of different study groups that see concretely involved researchers and experts in the sector, suppliers of services for agriculture and numerous wineries. This is the spirit with which the operating Group ValorInVitis, coordinated by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, has been operating for a year now, which aims, through innovative process and product actions, to support productivity, competitiveness and environmental sustainability of the Colli Piacentini wine growing area. The project is financed by the Regional Rural Development Program with over 263 thousand euros and intends to enhance the Vitis genus in order to develop new types of products; check the varietal adaptability and highlight the local viticulture germplasm; developing actions to adapt to climate change also by checking the territory for innovative genotypes; affect the increase in the sustainability of agricultural practices with specific actions regarding defense by making greater use of modeling and decision support systems (Decision Support System, Dss).
