Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The industrial research and experimental development project called BESIDE intends to apply artificial intelligence techniques for the analysis of motor (Gait Analysis) and behavioral patterns of individuals affected by neurodegenerative diseases. In particular, the project intends to identify the most suitable sensors and develop a complex IoT surveillance system capable of providing specific evidence to medical staff concerning the behavior and evolution of the patient's physical decay even when the patient is not under direct observation.
