Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The concept of education as a common good implies the empowerment of all actors who should have the right to fully informed and critical participation in the creation of school policies and programs for themselves and for young people. The acquisition of awareness of one's role as citizens and of the skills necessary to participate freely and responsibly in educational processes necessarily requires an integrated approach to education based on the paradigm of lifelong learning, which attributes the same value to the different forms and at all levels of education – an essential element for an inclusive educational project aimed at strengthening democracy.
