Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The stay in Padua in the late twenties of the sixteenth century and the beginning of the following decade marked for Ludovico Beccadelli and Giovanni Della Casa, both coming from the Study of Bologna, the definitive choice for literary studies and the fruitful encounter with an environment lively and varied, dominated by the figure of Pietro Bembo. The unpublished material used in these pages and coming from the Beccadelli collection of the Palatina Library in Parma allows us to reconstruct the dense and complex web of human and intellectual relations at the center of which the two friends found themselves, and to focus on the important role played from Bembo on their literary formation, even before the rhymes appeared in print in 1530.
