Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Starting from the concept of source as "specific textual reference", the article traces the possible references underlying the canine onomastics present in the "Adventures" and, more generally, in the collodian production for adults. The result is a very varied and articulated series. But above all the essay identifies some unknown sources of famous passages from the "Adventures", as in the case of Melampo, taken verbatim from the "Malmantile".
