Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the church of San Gervasio and Protasio in Baveno (VB), inside which elements of funerary architecture known for a long time are reused, a very large slab has recently been rediscovered, unfortunately very ruined due to the reuse perhaps as an altar table. . The artifact, which was to be part of a funerary enclosure, is decorated in the lower portion by a lower scene, while in the upper part you can still see the holes for the insertion of ornamental metal elements.
