[Autom. eng. transl.] The purpose of this book is to light a beacon on financial misinformation, highlighting where the greatest pitfalls deriving from the opacity of the information that we savers receive are hidden. We will see what are the risks from which we must learn to defend ourselves. We will try to orient ourselves in the maze of banking services costs and investment product commissions. We will also focus on a cumbersome regulation and inadequate vigilance. We will deepen some problems that have arisen with the start of the European banking union: the new rules for managing bank crises have been introduced in a particularly clumsy way, causing considerable damage to savers. Finally, we will try to understand what are the strengths and weaknesses of Italian banks, to see if we can still trust them.
