Bambini e bilinguismo: sviluppo e criticità/opportunità

[Autom. eng. transl.] This special issue of the journal collects the contributions of some of the scholars and specialists who shared scientific data and clinical and didactic experiences in a symposium organized on November 11, 2023, at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan on the challenges that multiculturalism is increasingly posing not only in the educational and scholastic context, but also in the services aimed at diagnosis and intervention in the case of language disorders. In addition to the participants in the symposium, some of the Italian researchers who have contributed most to increasing knowledge on the functioning profiles of bi-multilingual children have been invited to intervene in the debate, in order to have a general framework of reference on the critical issues and resources that distinguish the developmental trajectories of these children, in relation to their abilities in acquiring the L2.
