Abstract
This a review of a collection of articles on the application of corpus-based research to Chinese linguistic studies. The review underlines the importance of these contributions, that give insight on how to do research employing modern computing tools that permit to base theoretical linguistic observations on a large amount of empirical data, thus being able to observe authentic language. The review underlines the importance of contributions like those collected in the volume.
