Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The definition of effective administration and control systems constitutes a tool aimed at increasing the efficiency of company management and guaranteeing higher levels of protection for external stakeholders. This contribution explores the concept of economic entity, investigating its composition in the light of the economic-company doctrine and relating this to the ownership structures and possible corporate governance structures.
