Abstract
This paper focuses in particular on the forms and techniques of Ovidian intertextuality that can be found in the Neo-Latin satire "In mulieres emancipatas", written by the Swiss author Pierre Esseiva (1823-1899) and submitted in 1880 to the Certamen poeticum Hoeufftianum, where it gained the first place.
