Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution reconstructs the figure of the Trentino librarian Arnaldo Segarizzi, former librarian of the March of Venice and then director of Querini Stampalia of Venice, and brings to light the path of study and research between bibliography, philology and archival research at the turn of XIX and XX century. What emerges is a figure of scholar of first level in the climate of the Historical School, so far known mainly for his bibliographical works (The popular prints of the Marciana, above all). The extensive contribution is functional to the collection of some of his most important essays dispersed in magazines.
