Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article examines the demonstration of the immortality of the soul produced by Thomas Aquinas. The author shows in detail which are the theoretical roots of the Tommasian test and highlights the presence of a series of ambivalences and aporias linked to the difficulty, within Aristotelianism, of determining the category of "intellectual soul".
