Abstract
On the basis of a renewed historical and literary interest in the figure of Agostino Lampugnani (†1657), author of successful forays, as with the Carrozza da nolo, into satirical writing with a moralizing background, but also writer of the well-known story of La pestilenza seguita in Milano l’anno 1630, some new information is collected here, especially concerning the succession of his many monastic residences, an unpublished piece of correspondence exchanged with the Benedictine scholar Costantino Gaetani and, finally, some additions and corrections to the bibliography of his works, handwritten and in print, proposed in a previous contribution published in 2016.
