Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Some typically Lombard surnames attested in the municipality of Laveno Mombello have been taken into consideration starting from the documented records in the souls states since 1574. After having selected the most typical and persistent forms of the area, their linguistic analysis proceeded by typological groups. The study of individual surnames testifies to meetings of languages and cultures, territorial shifts and the different perceptions of oneself and others.
