Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] It has been hypothesized that the supply of carotenoids from natural sources reduces the risk of colorectal cancer (CCR). A systematic review and meta-analysis of epidemiological studies was carried out to study whether the contribution of carotenoids from natural sources, both single and combined, is associated with the overall risk and for the anatomical sub-section of CCR.
