Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Interest in Ferrante Aporti recorded a significant increase in 2008, annel of the 150th anniversary of his death. Conferences were held again in S. Martino dell'Argine and then in Turin. In 2009 the Aportian celebrations continued in Cremona and Brescia. Also in 2008, Maurizio Piseri, who had already devoted some studies to the history of the school and literacy in the Lombardy area, and to Cremona in particular, between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, presented a new book, with which he set himself to overcome the current interpretation of the Aporti. Going back to this last volume, the contribution aims to shed light on the historical-educational story of the Sanmartinese priest and, in particular, on its link with Austrian pedagogy.
