Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] A reflection based on three themes connected to the figure of Olivetti and between them. A first one concerns a personality of Quintino Sella, and that, even if in a different way, represents those instances of civilization through education, training, innovation, of which Adriano Olivetti later became an extraordinary interpreter in an important period of our history. A second reflection will be on a student of Adriano Olivetti, Giorgio Fuà, who never omitted, when a reflection became challenging, to point out to his interlocutor that Adriano Olivetti had been one of his most important teachers and to explain the reasons. A third reflection, on the other hand of a more contemporary continuity, even if not on the noisy current, on why personalities like Sella and Olivetti trace deep furrows that last over time without having the superficiality of current events.
