Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The object of the present invention is a device for fixing and holding in place a nasogastric tube, comprising a needle-like element suitable to be inserted passing through the patient's columella or nasal septum; a ring 5 connected or connectable to said needle-like element; and a fastening element connected or connectable to said ring and to said tube, so as to hold the tube near said ring. The present invention allows to improve the stability of the tube, to cushion its small movements, and to avoid irritation from rubbing or contact, reducing the displacement of the tube itself even in uncooperative patients who need protracted periods of enteral nutrition.
