Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] With the intensification of international competition and the globalization of markets, the management of natural and human resources settled in
various territories have become increasingly important as an instrument of economic development, especially in the tourism sector. The tourist demand
it is, in fact, increasingly sophisticated and is often aimed at satisfying several needs at the same time that require greater integration
the characteristics of a territory and a coordination of the skills of the various players in the related sector.
In this chapter, attention will be focused on territorial attractiveness from a tourist point of view, in particular on the ability to develop
an offer consistent with the complexity of the demand. The objective of the chapter is, therefore, to provide a tool for reading the peculiarities
and the relationships that shape the local tourism system.
