Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The work proposes the study of didactic applications of literary translation, with special reference to Italian-speaking university students. Particular attention is paid to the need to further study in depth the study of textual typologies and the network of relationships of each of them maintains with the cultural system of reference. The goal is to develop in students, in addition to the skills implied in the translation competence, the critical spirit necessary to confront the translation process in respect of the language and culture it expresses. In this perspective, literary translation is configured as a privileged instrument of cultural mediation which not only crosses the systems of self-representation in contact, but "actualizes" them by revitalizing them.
