Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In the card the events of the Bergognone triptych of the Diocesan Museum of Milan are outlined, coming from the church of Santa Maria di Casoretto, commissioned to the artist by the brotherhood dedicated to Santa Caterina d'Alessandria, which also includes the priest Giovanni Marco Capponi, at the same time member of some "scholae" born near Sant'Ambrogio in Milan. Simultaneously, also through the publication of new documents, clarifications are given on the late activity of Bergognone, carried out in the shadow of large Milanese monastic sites, such as the church of Santa Maria della Passione and the Sant'Ambrogio basilica
