Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The article reconstructs the biography and library of the Altobello Averoldi from Brescia, bishop of Pola, but a fundamental figure of the papal diplomacy of the early sixteenth century together with the powerful friend, Cardinal Raffaele Riario, of which some missing manuscripts are also recovered.
