[Autom. eng. transl.] The relational-symbolic model represents an important perspective from which to clarify the "familiar", in its perennial movement of connection between change and continuity, varying and invariant aspects. In the different chapters devoted to couple bonding, parental bonding and some of its specific forms (adoption, foster care, separation), the results of the research with which clinical and psychosocial scholars have collaborated are exposed to young adults and migrant families. The specific work methodology is outlined which guides training interventions with families in the community, as well as the characteristics of the clinical-psychotherapeutic intervention. The last part of the volume is dedicated to the main quantitative and qualitative tools used by researchers.
