Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In recent decades there has been a renewed interest in medieval prophecy, its function and its value from various points of view: historical, cultural, political, social, literary. The volume Prophecy and Prophets in the Middle Ages edited by Alessandro Palazzo and Anna Rodolfi deals in an original way with the theme of prophecy and the figure of the prophet in the medieval period, bringing out the presuppositions and doctrinal implications underlying the discussion: from epistemology to anthropology, from psychology to moral philosophy.
