Abstract
After defining what collaborative translation is and how it developed throughout history, some examples of collaborative translation for literary works from Arabic into Italian and vice versa are analyzed. Through this analysis, we understand the importance of the collaboration between two translators, one who is a native speaker of the source language and the other who is a native speaker of the target language.
