Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Can integration be done through music? And can a group enhance everyone's skills and at the same time weave a network of relationships that convey a sense of belonging? The experience of the Rulli Frulli band proves that, sometimes, the most daring ideas — such as setting up a band of boys and girls of different ages and abilities who play musical instruments built with recycled materials — not only become reality, but transform positively the lives of many: born in Finale Emilia in 2011 and raised during the difficult period of the earthquake, the band has come to perform on national and international stages and to give life to an ecosystem of projects, workshops and activities that now involves hundreds of people . The volume, the result of research conducted from the perspective of social generativity, reconstructs the history and working method of Rulli Frulli and recounts the numerous enabling processes launched in recent years at an interpersonal, community and territorial level. To show that the gang's ability to generate value stems from an intuition as simple as it is powerful: by welcoming, respecting and valuing each other, it is possible to make the whole society flourish again.
