Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The crises that loom over our time, the new complexities on a social, economic and environmental level, the profound changes on the geopolitical level and the growing conflicts in the management of wealth and power cause pressing problems and questions about the modalities of the relationship between the individual and society, systems of material and cultural production, local and planetary resources. The world can respond to the "global challenge" it is experiencing only by taking on a new one
development model defined as “sustainable”. This represents an important conciliatory challenge for companies, which must increasingly become aware of the influence that, by the very fact of existing and operating, they exert on their environment of reference.
