Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Following the unification of Italy the practice of mining began to increasingly interest the murals created by the primitives, now, following the foundation and diffusion of the patriotic and civic museums, increasingly subject to conservative attention and study by connoisseurs art. The realities most affected by this cultural revolution were the medium-sized small cities such as Bologna, Verona, Bergamo, Mantua, Ferrara or Treviso, just to name a few.
