Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Adolescence is characterized as a particularly critical moment in the life of an individual, both in the sense that the quality of his adulthood will depend on it, and because people, in this phase of life, are less resistant to certain stimuli that can push them to perform maladaptive behaviors. This chapter aims to identify which risk behaviors are most prevalent in adolescence, to understand their functions and, limited to that of drug use, to investigate the etiology and role of risk factors and protective factors
