Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article addresses the complex issue of rationality in Feyerabend’s thought. The topic needs to be addressed because, if on the one hand the author of Farewell to Reason seems to present himself as a declared irrationalist, on the other hand his opposition to Western rationalism seems to be based on a meaning of rationality limited to a specific historical and cultural context, to an exclusively algorithmic type of rationality. However, rationality can be understood in an “expanded” way, as it is capable of collaborating with intuition and emotion, as Feyerabend himself seems to suggest in some passages of his works.
