Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In France, the term inclusive education has been recognized since 2013 by the Law on the Refoundation of Schools. Thus the public service of education “recognizes that all children share the capacity to learn and progress. It ensures the inclusion
education of all children, without any distinction”. The teacher has the duty to adapt his teaching, his educational action, in the service of the implementation of a personalized schooling project for each of his pupils. In recent years, the presence of pupils with special educational needs,
presenting different types of difficulties has been a constantly increasing element at European level in schools. This situation has contributed to making the management of educational realities increasingly complex since preschool age.
There are many works that have been able to take up the questions raised by inclusive education by questioning in particular the foundations of the systems implemented, the changes in pedagogical practice on the side of education professionals confronted with diversity. None really
engaged in the field of nursery school, as being the cradle of the identification of learning difficulties in a school context.
This book, which follows on from a European study “More Opportunities for Every Child” (1) explores educational policies in terms of inclusive education on a European scale; (2) puts to work how we can spot student learning difficulties as early as kindergarten to
better support by the educational team; and (3) proposes the conditions for an effective educational alliance between families and the school.
