Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay exposes the relations between Federico Borromeo and Justus Ryckius, a Flemish humanist student of Giusto Lipsio, twice in Italy, from 1606 to 1612 and from 1625 until his death in 1627. In this second stay the young man consolidated the ties with the Galilean Accademia dei Lincei. In Milan, hosted by Borromeo between 1611 and 1612, he was able to find an environment in keeping with his physiognomy of neostoic humanist. His gratitude will be expressed in a poem entitled 'Bibliotheca Ambrosiana', of which an edition and commentary is provided.
