Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the era of the coronavirus emergency, the ordinary ways in which the cult of the dead is celebrated in all religions are subject to the same restrictions imposed more generally on the religious freedom of citizens of the faith; restrictions that, becoming more and more detailed every day, appear to be one of the most conspicuous and at the same time shocking aspects of the measures launched to contain and stem the emergency linked to the spread of the coronavirus in Italy. The contribution analyzes the restrictions imposed by the Italian legal system on the cult of the deceased in light of the canonical and religious categories that concern him.
